On Senior Night October 16th, at their last home game the Forney Lady Jackrabbits won against the West Mesquite Lady Wranglers in three straight matches to win the series 25-17, 25-11 and 25-17.
The Superintendent of the Forney Independent School District, Dr. Darrell Brown sang the National Anthem to open the match.
The Lady Falcons played aggressively against the Lady Wranglers and most of the Forney Ladies were able to put points a piece on the scoreboard during their rotation. While Kylie Brown and Shelby Criswell added more points with several good spikes to end the first game 25-17.
Game two had some awesome volley’s between the two teams but again the Lady Falcons serving ability came through when Stephanie Nance stepped to the line on her first serving rotation to score 9 points to extend the Jackrabbit lead. Nance scored several more points with hard hitting spikes and well timed blocks the lead the Lady Jackrabbits to a second win of 25-11.
The Lady Jackrabbits continued to make every serve count with ace points by both Remington Roberts and Jordan Wilson. Wilson and Nance along with Freshman Jasmine Weaver worked well at the net to add points with several cross court spikes as well as quite a few big double blocks.
The Jackrabbits won game three with a score of 25-17 to take the series 3-0.
