Forney High School Soccer Clinic

Last week Forney High School held its annual summer soccer clinic with over one hundred campers in attendance.

The camp was held by the varsity boys' coach Kris Duplissey and varsity girls' coach Trisha Williamson. The camp ran from 8:30 – 11:00 am for grades K-8th. The young campers were coached by Forney High School Alumni.

In addition, Forney held the first ever high school clinic. The 9-12th grade clinic was coached by Cindy Ell (club coach) and Mark Broyles (high school coach).

Participants were taught techniques of the game through individual and group activities. At the end of the week the young campers played against the Forney High School soccer teams.

Several players were honored and awarded “Camper of the Week”.

The clinic was a huge success thanks to the players and parents involved.

Forney will continue to host a clinic every summer to develop players and bring together players of all ages past, present and future.
