Be sure to stop by the new information kiosk as you drop off your recycling and find out what’s going on and what you can do to help keep Kaufman County Growing Green.
Made possible with grant funds from TCEQ through The North Central Texas Council of Governments, the building talents of Mr. Henry Wallace, and donated installation time and effort from Precinct 3, the Environmental Co-op arranged for the new kiosk to be built and installed at the Terrell recycling drop-off center at E. High and N. Delphine Street behind the sub-courthouse.
The kiosk will be frequently updated to include both county and Co-op events such as electronics recycling or paper shredding events and information about recycling, composting, conservation, gardening tips, and more.
For more information on what items are accepted at the recycling center, please visit the Co-op’s website at www.trashbusters.org.
