Troy Hayes and Leslie Jones Announces Marriage Plans

Ethan, Alexander and Connor Jones are pleased to announce the engagement of their Mother, Leslie Leigh Conway Jones, of Forney, Texas, to Troy Geddes Hayes of Zionsville,Indiana, the father of Caden, Gabriel and Linden Hayes.

After months of traveling back and forth, Troy came to Texas with a purpose. Hurricane Ike was well on its way through the Metroplex, but this did not deter him from his mission. He took Leslie to the place of their first kiss, which just happen to be on the dock of a lake. In the torrential down pour, he got on his knees and asked her to be his bride.

Leslie grew up in Arlington, Texas and graduated from Arlington High School in 1995. In 2000, she graduated with her Baccalaureate of Science in Marriage, Family and Human Development from Brigham Young University. She currently works at City Bank in Forney as a teller.

Troy was raised in Rupert, Idaho and graduated from Minico High School in 1988. In 1995 he graduated From Brigham Young University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Italian, and then From The California School of Professional Psychology with his Psy.D. in Clinical Child Psychology. He is currently working for Ingersoll Rand as their Human Resources Director of Global Operations.

Troy and Leslie will be married for time and eternity in the Nauvoo Temple in Illinois on December 20th. They will reside in Zionsville, Indiana, and start their new life with their six children. The children, ages 2 to 13, were elated to hear the news that they would be members of a modern day “Brady Bunch.”

Troy and Leslie are excited to share their lives together. They have already weathered so many storms alone and with a loving companion they can weather so many more. Nothing can stop this couples love, not even a hurricane.
