Investigation Nets Recovery of Stolen Property

On Wednesday July 1, 2009 Kaufman County Deputies, aided by Seagoville Police Officers executed an evidentiary search warrant at the address of 2850 South Beltline Rd, Dallas, Texas.

Officers received information that there was possibly stolen property from a theft that occurred in Forney, Texas on June 29, 2009.

Listed among the stolen property was a 2001 Ford F 250 which was recovered in Balch Springs Texas, as well as a trailer which was recovered in Seagoville, Texas, and several high end lawnmowers, edger’s, blowers and miscellaneous tools, that were recovered in Seagoville Texas.

Total estimated value of the property from this theft is $33,100.00.

Officers also recovered property during the search that was stolen from a burglary of a habitation reported in Scurry, Texas on May 20, 2009.

Recovered property included a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Estimated value of the property recovered is $5,000.00.

Arrested on charges of theft and burglary of a habitation was Kyle James Greenlee, 23, of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Greenlee is being held in the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center without bond.
