Forney Chamber Selects New Logo & Slogan

The Forney Chamber of Commerce proudly announced the winners of their community involved, new logo and slogan contest, at the Forney Community Park on Friday evening.

Forney City Councilman James Hatley was the selected winner of the new logo design contest with his depiction of the State of Texas with a star representing Forney’s location.

And Heather Mayfield, pictured with her daughter Brookelyn, was announced as the winner of the slogan portion of the contest. Winning with the slogan: Forney Chamber of Commerce “Investing in One Business at a Time.”

Each of the winners was awarded a $ 500. cash prize by Chamber of Commerce Chairman of the Board Skip Weatherford and both winning logo and slogan will begin appearing of Chamber literature and promotional materials very soon.

Councilman James Hatley very generously donated his contest winnings to the Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund.
