Four Car Accident Sends Two to Hospital

A four car accident temporarily clogged traffic at the intersection of FM 548 and FM 1641 Friday evening causing police to reroute traffic through the Villages of Fox Hollow.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. Forney Police, Fire, and wrecker services were dispatched to the often congested intersection to assist with “a four vehicle accident” where one occupant was reported to be “unconscious.”
Still under investigation, it appears that all four vehicles were traveling west bound on FM 548 and collided as they approached the traffic light at the FM 1641 intersection.
Forney Police, fire, and ambulances blocked both lanes on FM 548 just past the FM 1641 intersection for approximately forty minutes while two ambulances stabilized and then transported two injured individuals to an area hospital.
