Local Little League Coach Critically Injured in ATV Accident

Forney Youth Baseball Association Coach Jeremy Burch was just starting his second season coaching the "Forney Storm T-ball Team" when on March 30th, he was critically injured in an ATV accident while in Houston, Texas.

A truly horrific accident Jeremy was seriously injured, breaking his neck and injuring his spinal cord, he was left paralyzed from the chest down.

He spent a month in ICU in Houston and he is now continuing his recovery at the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas.

Jeremy’s doctors are optimistic that he should be able to return to his Forney home some time in July and his wife Angela and their two young sons, Cody and Ty are anxious to be reunited.

Unfortunately, the Burch’s Forney home will need major renovations to adequately accommodate Jeremy’s wheelchair.

Forney Youth Baseball Association has set up an account at the Capital One Bank in Forney and donations are being accepted to aid the Burch family with the cost of the necessary home repairs, as well as the quickly mounting medical bills.

FYBA is also collecting funds each and every day at the Mulberry Park concession stands and they will “continue collecting donations to assist the Burch’s for at least another month at which time all the money will be given to the family.”
