Traffic Stops Nets Two Arrest and Seizure of Methamphetamine

On Monday Kaufman County Deputies K. Ketchum and R. McGee stopped a 1992 Nissan Sentra traveling west bound on Highway 175 and FM 148 east of Crandall Texas for a traffic violation.

Inside the vehicle, deputies located 19.6 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $ 2,000.00.

Dana Lynn Crow, 33, and Andrew Jeffrey Myrick, 46, both of Kemp were arrested for possession of methamphetamines.

Both Crow and Myrick were transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center where they were charged with the offense of possession of a controlled substance.

Myrick was previously arrested on June 20, 2009 by the Kemp Police Department for possession of a controlled substance and had been released on a $ 1,500. bond for that offense.

Myrick’s bond for this offense has been set at $ 50,000. and Crows has been set at $ 25,000.
