City Begins Mosquito Spraying

The City of Forney will be spraying for mosquitoes between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The spraying began Sunday, August 12, 2012 in the Parks and Creeks area and will continue on Monday, August 13th on the North side of Hwy 80. And then spraying will finish up South of Hwy 80 on Tuesday, August 14th.
The water soluble spray that will be used to fog for mosquitoes will not harm animals under normal conditions although residents will not want their pets and open windows in the path of the fog machine due to residue and mild odor.
