The Forney Youth Baseball Association recently raised more than $ 9,500.00 dollars by selling raffle tickets that were donated to them as part of the national Chevy Youth Baseball program.
Working in partnership with Wylie Musser Chevrolet the members of FYBA sold every ticket they were donated for the annual raffle that this year will award a Chevy Equinox or Chevy Cruze to the lucky winner.
All raffle ticket proceeds go directly to assisting FYBA with the maintenance and improvement of the fields at Mulberry Park.
Wylie Musser Chevrolet General Manager, Mike Bedrick, stated “It’s a great deal for us and them as well. I know that they bought new mounds for their fields and rebuilt on all of their fields the batters box and home plate. The money that they raised went to a great cause. It’s all about helping the kids and this year they did a great job, thanks to Skeet Phillips.”
