WBAP to Broadcast from Texas Regional Medical Center

As part of its 90th anniversary celebration, WBAP (820 AM and 96.7 FM) will broadcast live from Texas Regional Medical Center at Sunnyvale June 22nd. The station will broadcast 5-8:30 a.m. in the parking lot in front of the hospital, and WBAP will give away tickets to various events, as well as offer tours of its studio on wheels.
“We welcome the chance to celebrate WBAP’s long history in Dallas-Fort Worth,” said Julie Martin, TRMC-Sunnyvale’s director of business development. “Ninety years is quite an accomplishment.”
In addition, Dr. Wesley Wilson of Family Medical in Forney and on staff at TRMC-Sunnyvale, will offer an Ask the Expert session to answer visitors’ health questions. TRMC Café will offer healthy-cooking demonstrations and samples.
TRMC-Sunnyvale is at 231 S. Collins Road and WBAP is taking to the streets June 1-Aug. 31 in celebration of its 90th anniversary and TRMC-Sunnyvale is one of several stops for the morning DJs.
