FHS and NFHS Track Athletes Win Medals at UIL State Track Meet

Forney High School hurdler Kiana Hawn took second in the 300 meter hurdles and second in the 100 meter hurdles at the 2012 University Interscholastic League (UIL) 4A State Track Meet on Friday, May 11.
The meet was held at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. Hawn ran a 41.72 in the 300 meter hurdles final and a 14.14 in the 100 meter hurdles final. Hawn is a sophomore at Forney High School this year.
North Forney High School hurdler Hunter Hartley placed third in the 300 meter hurdles in the 2012 UIL 3A State Track Meet on Saturday, May 12, also at the University of Texas. Hartley ran a 38.76 in the finals in the 3A Boys 300 meter hurdles. Hartley is a sophomore at North Forney High School this year.
