FISD Announces New Principal for Rhea Elementary School

The Forney Independent School District recently announced that Scott Fisher, the current Principal at Claybon Elementary School, will be the new Principal at Rhea Elementary School. Fisher replaces Cecilia Cosper who is retiring at the end of the school year.
Fisher began his career in education in 1996 as a 6th and 7th grade teacher for three years at A.C. New Middle School in the Mesquite Independent School District.
In 1999 he served as the Principal at Maypearl Middle School in Maypearl Independent School District before coming to the Forney Independent School District as the Assistant Principal at Henderson Elementary School in 2000. He was named the Assistant Principal at Claybon Elementary School in 2004 before being named the Principal at Claybon Elementary in 2009.
Cosper is retiring after 28 years in the field of education. She began her career with the Forney Independent School District in 1998 and has served the students of Forney ISD as a Principal at Lewis Elementary and Rhea Elementary School.
