FHS Jackrabbits Beat State Ranked Corsicana Tigers

It was a tight game between the Forney Jackrabbits and the state ranked, Corsicana Tigers, last Friday night at Mulberry Park and although it was a highly charged game, the Jackrabbits ultimately beat Corsicana, 4-3.
Currently on quite a winning streak, the Jackrabbits came out swinging and put four points on the scoreboard within the first inning. After a series of runs and hits, the Jackrabbits lead the game until Corsicana scores with an RBI single in the second inning to change the score to Forney, 4, Corsicana, 1.
Jackrabbits Pitcher, Jake Morrison, threw a complete game while striking out four and Forney’s top hitter was Zack McDowell who had 2 hits including the game winning double run.
