FHS Varsity Jackrabbits Whip the Terrell Tigers

With the sun descending after a warm spring day, the Forney High Varsity Jackrabbits celebrated Parents Night just prior to the start of the district competition in which the team easily and methodically corralled the Terrell High Tigers, to win 8 to 3.

Going to a seven inning game, FHS Senior, Patric Youngman, went 3-3 at the plate to assist the Jackrabbits victory, and he singled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings.

Jake Morrison kept Terrell off balance while he was on the mound, although Terrell managed just two hits off of Morrison, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his 5 2/3 innings of work.

The Forney High Jackrabbits next compete at home against Corsicana High on Friday night, April 20th.
