The Forney High Band Boosters will gather at FHS on Saturday morning to raise funds for the victims of the Diamond Creek Tornadoes.
All proceeds will benefit Forney Disaster Relief and one of the FHS teachers, who was severely impacted by tornado damage to his home.
The Band Boosters already had a Recycle Drive scheduled to take place this Saturday, April 7th in the school parking lot. Now, instead of a fundraiser designed to benefit the FHS Bands, the organization has decided to give back to the community.
The Recycle Drive will be held Saturday, April 7th from 9 a.m. until Noon, in the parking lot of Forney High School.
Recycling donation will be accepted for clothing, computers, keyboards, mice, ink cartridges, routers, shredders, vcr’s, dvd players, calculators, golf clubs, vacuum cleaners, books, toys, batteries, bikes, radios, grills, cookware, dinnerware, jewelry, sporting goods and so much more!!!
They do not accept TVs or Furniture, and items may be in any condition – damage, non-working or fully operational.
Simply bring your donated items to the Forney High School Parking Lot and they will help ensure proper recycling that would otherwise take up valuable landfill space.
